Beginnings

With a staff number of three with little or no experience, SRN Mediaworks had an uphill battle from its formation.

It took a lot of hard work to continue in the dream of creating an internet media presence, but I believe we have done it in a graceful manner. We approached our challenges in a pragmatic manner, taking every humble step and making sure our growth was not just aritificial.

We were lucky in the first place. The internet bubble was in an artificial high, and we were not prepared to be sucked into what appeared to be a distant neverland of economic downturn. Through my stewardship, we stayed well clear of the more greedy portions of internet business.

Imagining. Every day.

Our vision is simple: Our existance as SRN Mediaworks is not to line the pockets of its owners, but to innovate and invent new ways of communicating to an evolving audience. It was important from the start that we maintain our presence as useful to today's society.

We will be welcoming new faces and revitalising our media in this upcoming year, with new productions like The Travelling Briefcase and a full renewed second season of Centre Street. Our tradition continues with new episodes of Phil Liz and Lucy, with new ways of distributing our flagship programme.

Our tenth year shall be a bright one, and a bright continuation of our motto it should be.
