"I'm Feeling
You!" |
|   |
|
|   |
| If you've ever carried a diary in your
younger years, or kept assignments and essays you wrote in grade
school, you'd probably have some embarrassment and pity looking
back. |
|   |
| I, as Phil, wrote a flurry of little articles and
notes that might not be fit for human consumption due to grammar
and redundancy of the subjects mentioned. As I edited everyone
else's text, even back then, I'm doubly embarrassed knowing that
some of this work was deemed acceptable in my eyes. |
|   |
| What follows is a column from a dramatically different era.
Please note the lack of proper grammar and the evolution of the
internet. |

Excerpts from Instant Messaging:
Long Distance
without the phone bill! June 11, 2002 |
|   |
|
Have you wondered how you could contact your relatives without
paying a cent? Do you incur so many long distance charges
that your mom would freak out when she looks at the phone bill?
Well, "sorry" no more with the world of instant messaging! |
|   |
|
Many messengers also support voice conversations and Yahoo can
support video conversations! What a savings of, whatever's on your
phone bill! |
|   |
|
But they do come with limitations, however. The person you are
talking to must be online to ensure that it is live and
instant. Also, you will need internet access, so for the
two tenths of Canadians who don't have internet, that wouldn't be
an advantage to you. |
|   |
|
Well, happy conversations with you! |
|   |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|   |
| Talking about redundancy, here's another article about a certain actor. Watch for all the "ha
ha ha" - I once thought that was a worthy replacement for "l-o-l". |

Let's Talk About... Jet Li!
June 22, 2002 |
|   |
|
Jet Li is "Soo Hot!". Did you see the movie "The One"? He is "so hot"
in it. "Oh my god." Sorry if you don't want to hear this, but I cannot
help it. Who here agrees he's hot?
|
|   |
|
What? What?
|
|   |
|
I can't hear you! "Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha!"
|
|   |
|   |
| These two articles are probably some of the most painful
bits of text that we've ever reviewed because it clearly shows a naive,
unintentionally pretentious tone. And we know we
can't be with Jet Li. No way. |
