About

A decade ago, we were a bunch of preteens believing that what we knew would be a valuable thing. What a decade has proven is that we didn't know anything at all, and much of the content we wrote way back in the day was almost laughable.

We were cocky, confident, sure that web surfers would trust us to any word we wrote. We carried a naivete that shined through the primitive graphics, the lack of proper grammar and the constant name changes that didn't end until four years after we started.

In July 2001, we started under the name Woodbridge Data Cafe. A website with a name that was clearly created for the days of the dot-com boom. With a desktop computer running Windows Me and a cable connection that was "blazing fast" for the day, we began to post what appears to be quite inane content.

This section of the website is devoted to a bit of a non-serious critique of the content generated in more dusty times. We do appreciate your patience as we celebrate ten years of curiosity.

No goldfish were harmed in the making of this section. Oh, and for the record: Woodbridge Data Cafe is now 148.ca Cafe.
