Background

 

SRN Mediaworks was born out of a residence in Brampton, Ontario, on November 12th, 1997. The three executives that still serve SRN Mediaworks Holdings today were the founders of this organisation.

 

Production was painful at first. As tape recording was the most cost-effective way of producing audio back in the day, SRN Mediaworks eventually created a huge library of audio tapes full of programming and positive segments. This library, however, was accidentally dubbed with Vietnamese music by early 1999. We still have not found a culprit.

 

Our first webpage was created back on July 3rd, 2001. This, at a time when internet access was most popular in the libraries of Toronto suburbs. Our dialup connection at first did not help at all, except for uploading our webpages, however.

 

The Three Years Plan

 

Experience: "Already in our 7th year, SRN Mediaworks would like to become a professional organisation. We will improve the quality of audio in SRN's programmes. We will become a mature entity by 2007."

 

Integrity: "As a responsible company, we have established an Ombusman and Second Ombusman positions. We will take all complaints, if any, into consideration" (Since the time of publication, we have made all positions on the Executive Board responsible for handling complaints, big or small).

 

Honour: "As a family-oriented organisation, we will put that unique touch into our programming others can't create. We will improve on this new image."

 

We believe we have fulfilled all three principles.
