| Moaning for Tourists |
|   |
| Mmm... ahh... yes... Kingston. |
|   |
| Radio commercial |
|   |
| Yes, the city in between Toronto and Ottawa is now a tourist

| Numbered Trouble |
|   |
| Meanwhile, local media is seriously suffering as companies "trim the
fat" in a recession. The Vaughan Citizen, owned by Torstar Corporation through its Metroland
subsidiary, has been working hard with less resources. And they also believe in "negative
growth". |

| "...the area's population is expected to increase from its current
80,0000 residents to 117,000 people by 2018..." |
|   |
| Vaughan Citizen, April 16 2009 |

chamber due to population concerns. Either someone added too many zeros to this front page

increase! |
|   |
| "By comparison, Ward 5, which includes Thornhill, would have just
37,9000 residents by 2018..." |
|   |
| Vaughan Citizen, April 16 2009 |
|   |
| Just 379,000 residents? I didn't know you could cram so many
people west of Yonge Street! |
