Located a short stroll away on Yonge Street from a subway station,
Earth supplies a rather noble concept of providing quality locally sourced food
from organic sources, presented through various cuisines. |

Overall, the restaurant was very enjoyable with attentive, average
service. I had a tasty homemade pasta (created on premises) with elk meat which you don't
see every day. It's a dish that contains ingredients that came from a local source.
However, it was expensive for what it was in relations to portion sizes. |

Over the top gourmet, not quite worth the price in my
thoughts. |

Next time you visit a restaurant, ask yourself: Where does my food
come from? It's a fascinating subject to check out, with eye popping details. It's great
this restaurant carries a "locally grown" mantra. |

I was slightly puzzled when we were being seated as the waiter
immediately informed us that there was a reservation on our table for 8 pm that night.
As this was my first experience in what's termed "fine dining", I didn't know if it was
a negative trait, but a three hour window of dining was more than sufficient for a late
lunch. |

By contrast to my more explorative carnivorous counterpart, I chose
to try out their take on the safe, predictable veggie burger. Made with cracked wheat and
served with two different kinds of ketchup, it was a lovely unexpected melding of
flavours. |

It's most definitely a place to splurge, and the check was harder to
swallow than usual. The waiting staff should be commended for a cordial, almost jocular
approach to service. |
