A collection of common thoughts for the New Year

Here we share some quotes about the new year from fellow people of may generations (names and ages have been withheld).

- Just like each year begins with January so does February follow and I hope you have a proofreader because I never could spell February.

- There is always hope when a new year starts but remember that's how people felt before the second world war began.

- Let's not forget there was a pandemic a few years back but if anything like that happens again let's wear Halloween masks this time around. I want to wear a Wonder Woman mask.

- More great technological things will happen in the new year and I still won't have the kind of eyesight to read an Apple Watch.

- What every country in the world needs next year is a lottery game everyone wins once a month at least.

- More sharing and caring is possible in the new year but you got to have the strength for it and that means the youth of the world must exercise more and eat better and especially have children because the population is way too big.

- I want us all to be like we live in one country with freedom to be who we want to be and with generosity to one another and all of us using more hand lotion for certain fun actions.

- A new year is not a fresh start. A new year is a continuation of the old one because winter continues every January after the December of the last year ends. Let's not forget that.

- In the next year let's hope people read more and talk to one another more but not while they are reading.

- You may win some and you may lose some in the coming year but remember that what you lose may not be what you need and what you want changes according to your needs.
